Dr Tim's Education

Dr. Bhakta attended the University of Kansas and graduated in 2000 with a double major in Biology and Microbiology with a concentration in Genetics and a research emphasis in biochemistry. After graduation, he worked as a laboratory technician for the FMC-Monsanto chemical plant for a year and then as a microbiologist with Biological Services for 15 months before attending Cleveland Chiropractic College.

Dr. Bhakta graduated with a Doctorate degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City in 2005. During that time he also attained certification in Acupuncture through the National Society of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and a fellowship in acupuncture through the Acupuncture Society of America. While in private practice, Dr. Bhakta perused a Master's of Science degree in Biomechanics and Human Movement with a specialization in sports conditioning from ATSU. He also completed specializations though the National Academy of Sports Medicine in Corrective Exercise and Performance Enhancement.
